Provide cost-effective and quality curative and preventive health services to all in rural Bangladesh. |

Provide community-based health services and promote improved health with the active participation of the people. |

Deliver an essential services package (ESP) in basic health near the doorsteps of all in rural Bangladesh, which is affordable, equitable, and sustainable within its resource constraints. |

Improve the cost-recovery and sustainability of the delivery of basic health services through the mobilization of a micro health insurance scheme and user fees.

Reduce mortality, morbidity, and disabilities among the rural people of Bangladesh to irreducible minimum. |
